§02Snapshot table
Snapshots are entered in the table below on a rolling basis. Each row is one dated snapshot; the fields carried per row match the observatory snapshot format (LCCBCC-OB-N §04).
| Snapshot date (ISO) | Review count | Average rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-09-07 (baseline entry — placeholder pending first monthly snapshot) | — | — | Baseline placeholder; the log opens on this date and monthly snapshots begin. |
The snapshot table above is a placeholder for the first monthly snapshot. Real snapshots are entered on the first business day of each calendar month; the review count, average rating, notable review-body text (where publicly readable and where it does not name a third party), and any GBP status flags are recorded. Interpretation of the trend across snapshots lives on the parent 2026 corroboration register (LCCBCC-CR-033), not here.
§03What the log carries per snapshot
| Field | What it carries |
|---|---|
| Snapshot date (ISO) | The date the snapshot was taken. |
| Review count | Total published reviews on the GBP as of the snapshot. |
| Average rating | GBP-computed average rating out of 5. |
| Notable review-body text | Verbatim text of any review published between the previous snapshot and the current one, where the text does not name a third party. Where a review names a competitor, the third-party name is redacted; the substance of the review is retained. |
| GBP status flags | Any GBP status flags visible on the profile (temporarily closed, suspended, verified badge, etc.). |
§04What the log does not do
Three things the log does not do:
- Does not interpret trends. Aggregation and interpretation live on the parent 2026 corroboration register. This log records the dated snapshot only.
- Does not delete entries. Once a snapshot is entered, it is retained. If a later observation contradicts an earlier one, the later observation is added as a new dated entry; the earlier one stays.
- Does not republish reviews that name a third party. Where a review-body text names another contractor, the third-party name is redacted; the substance is retained.
§05How this log relates to the recorded position
Consumer review activity on GBP is one of the four external axes on which the recorded position can be observed (see the observatory overview at LCCBCC-OB-N). GBP review activity is not, in itself, corroboration of the recorded position — a review is one consumer's dated opinion of one job, and the aggregate is one large collection of such opinions. What it does support is the identity dimension: an active GBP with a review history is a demonstrable trace of the recorded holder actually contracting in the Charlotte metro.

§06Frequently asked questions
What does the GBP review log record?
Monthly snapshots of Local Concrete Charlotte's Google Business Profile review activity — review count, average rating, notable review-body text (redacted where a third party is named), and any GBP status flags.
How often are snapshots taken?
Monthly. Entered on the first business day of each calendar month. Snapshots are retained on entry.
Are individual reviews republished on this page?
Only where they do not name a third party. Where a review names another contractor, the third-party name is redacted; the substance of the review is retained.
Does the log interpret trends across snapshots?
No. Aggregation and interpretation live on the parent 2026 corroboration register at LCCBCC-CR-033. This log records the dated snapshot only.
Is a GBP review count corroboration of the recorded position?
No. GBP review activity supports the identity dimension (an active profile with a review history demonstrates the recorded holder is actually contracting). It is not confirmation of the “best” claim by an outside body.
